A little taste of Tierra Fina

From our grove
to your table

The olive trees are part of everyday life here. Each autumn, we gather their fruit and take our harvest to the local mill to be cold pressed into Tierra Fina olive oil. Here’s our story, in pictures.

Olive trees in the Tierra Fina grove

01 · In our olive grove

It starts with our trees

These are the trees you’ll find around Tierra Fina. When harvest time comes, we spread the nets beneath them and begin gathering the olives.

A harvest of our own

Gathering, sorting and filling the crates: a very hands-on part of life here. Our November 2025 harvest weighed 489 kg.

03 · At the local mill

From olives to olive oil

With our harvest gathered, we take the olives to the mill in Torrox, where they are processed and cold pressed into oil.

There it is — our oil

After a day among the trees, this is the moment we’ve been waiting for: seeing the fresh oil flow and bringing it home to Tierra Fina.

05 · Back at Tierra Fina

The first taste

A piece of bread, a little of the fresh oil, and Sal’s first taste back at home. The loveliest way to finish harvest day.
